Prof. Lotrionte Discusses CISPA on C-SPAN
On Saturday, April 20, 2013, Professor Lotrionte talked about the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) bill, its prospects in the Senate, and the concerns the bill creates over privacy issues. She said the CISPA bill would establish a framework for private companies and the federal government to share information relating to computer related threats. She also suggested, however, that many people were concerned with the privacy issues raised by the bill, specifically the sharing of personal data gathered by private companies with government agencies. She responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
